Establishment of thousands of religious Makatib

Taking upon responsibility of basic religious education, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind held ‘All Indian Deeni Talimi Board Convention’ (Religious Education Convention) in 1954 in Mumbai. The convention decided to establish All India Deeni Taalimi Board. Within a short period, the Board established a large number of morning and night schools for imparting religious education in the remote area of the country. Maulana Syed Mohammad Miyan (RH) prepared a five year course and introduced in those schools. In 2009, in a General Session of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind held in Hyderabad, This Board was given new strength with many important changes. Now under this Board, Jamiat is running more than 15000 makataib in length and breath of the country.
